Russia will build a new Asian route bypassing Kazakhstan
01/08/2023
Russia, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan have agreed to create a multimodal "Southern Transport Corridor". The new route will bypass Kazakhstan. And this will solve two important tasks. Firstly, this is how part of the cargo flow will be transferred to the port of Astrakhan. And secondly, obstacles for goods that are delayed for a long time at the Kazakh customs will be eliminated. The fact is that due to the close inspection of products, transportation through the territory of Kazakhstan is delayed for several days instead of several hours.
