Russia plans to import elephants and giraffes from South Africa

Russia will discuss with South Africa the import of wild animals from the provinces of Limpopo and Gauteng for domestic zoos. These are elephants, giraffes, antelopes, hippos and zebras living in hunting reserves.
Lyudmila Talabayeva, a member of the SF Committee on Agrarian and Food Policy and Environmental Management, considers this direction of cooperation between the countries promising. According to her, such agreements allow children and adults to get a broader view of the world without leaving their country.
