In 2023, China increased exports of Russian platinum and palladium by 2.8 (up to 25.1 tons) and 1.7 times (up to 15.7 tons), respectively.

As a result of the increase in supplies, Russia has significantly strengthened its position as a supplier and increased its share in China's platinum imports from 10 to 25%, and in palladium imports from 34 to 64%.
