By the end of this year, the trade turnover between Russia and Armenia may become the highest in its history. There is a possibility that trade between the two countries will reach a record $16 billion. This was announced by Vladimir Putin.

According to the results of the previous year, the volume of trade between the states reached over $ 7 billion. In January-June 2024, the indicator increased 2.5 times and became more than $8 billion.

"If we move at this pace, it means that this year's trade turnover could reach $14-16 billion, which is a record figure," the Russian president concluded.

In addition, Russia has continued to actively trade with China this year. It is expected that by the end of 2024, the trade turnover between these two countries will exceed the established level of $200 billion by a margin. Last year, the volume of Russian-Chinese trade reached a record high of over $240 billion. Compared to 2021, the indicator has soared by more than 60%.
