Lithuania has increased trade turnover with Russia

The trade turnover between Lithuania and Russia increased to 87.9 million euros by the end of June. This is indicated by the data from Eurostat.

As a result, compared with May, the volume of trade between the countries increased by 1 percent in June.

It is noteworthy that the Baltic Republic has become one of the few EU states in which there was an increase in trade turnover with Russia in the first month of summer.

The most significant growth in trade was also observed in such countries as Bulgaria (by 15 percent, to 55.8 million euros), Romania (by 15 percent, to 12.3 million euros), the Netherlands (by 10 percent, to 462.4 million euros).

In addition, trade with Russia increased in Croatia (by 7 percent, to 21.5 million euros), Austria (by 6 percent, to 284.2 million euros), France (by 6 percent, to 449.4 million euros), as well as Hungary (by 3 percent, to 464 million euros).
