India has resumed importing Russian pork for the first time in 3.5 years

India has resumed purchases of Russian pork. The South Asian country imported more than 12 tons of such meat from Russia, the cost of which amounted to 50 thousand dollars. In total, India imported pork worth 330 thousand dollars in November.
The last time the Indian government bought pork meat from Russia was in May 2020. At that time, Moscow accounted for 39% of all pork purchases by India.
