Exports of Russian petroleum products to India in August began to grow again after 2 months of decline and reached almost $ 130 million. This is indicated by data from the Indian Ministry of Trade and Industry.
So, during the month, India increased purchases by almost 1.5 times compared to July – up to $ 129.9 million.
As a result, Russia regained the first place in Indian imports of petroleum products, which it lost in June. Then shipments dropped to 240 million after the May 342.2 million, and in July even more significantly — to 95.4 million dollars.
In addition to Russia, the top five exporters of petroleum products to India include South Korea (over 86 million dollars), the United Arab Emirates (about 86 million), Malaysia (54.5 million) and Singapore (over 43 million).
Most of all in August, New Delhi bought ligroin (heavy gasoline) from Moscow - almost $ 119 million, as well as hydraulic (over $ 9 million) and lubricating oils (about 1 million).
In total, following the results of 8 months, India purchased almost $ 2 billion worth of petroleum products from Russia.
