Russian coal exports to Asian countries increased by 23% in 2023

Domestic coal exports to the countries of the Asia-Pacific region (APR) increased by 23% by the end of 2023. This was noted by the first deputy head of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation Pavel Sorokin.
According to him, the coal industry of our country occupies about 15% of the global coal market. Coal exports to friendly countries have increased by more than 70% in 2 years. Now they account for about 85% of all deliveries.
